The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the global Knowledge Management standards and practices and to provide  Knowledge Management credentials and education to members. To create awareness of Intellectual Property Protections among members and the general public. To be socially responsible by awarding scholarships to students interested in a career in Knowledge Management, and a variety of other services to professionals, individuals, organizations, and students in the united states and around the world. To strengths and develop professionals in the field of Knowledge Management with the capacity to excel in their career. ACKMP Services shall include but not be limited to KM Certification, Training, and Continuous Education. Provision of various educational workshops and seminars, KM leadership programs. The philosophy of the Association of Certified Knowledge Management Professionals shall be to connect professional members to other KM experts by promoting global Knowledge Management standards and continuous education of members.
