Scholarship Program

The Mission

Is to increase and improve the profession of knowledge Management by supporting future Knowledge Management Auditor professionals worldwide through the funding of the ACKMP Scholarship Program. The scholarship program provides an opportunity for young men and women of all ages, races, religions and income levels to advance their education. Many of these outstanding and deserving students go on to become Knowledge Management Professional.

Eligibility

Criteria

Scholarship Applicants

Must currently be enrolled full-time and similarly enrolled during the current academic year at an accredited, four-year college or university. Applicants must have a declared major or minor in strategic management, business law, accounting, business administration, finance or management and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in KM profession. Applicants must also be model students with great moral and Ethical conduct and void of any criminal violation.

Program Information

Supports

The education of students who have an interest in pursuing a career in Knowledge Management, Business Management Information Systems Management. The scholarship provides an opportunity for students to advance their education and Knowledge Management career paths. Many of these outstanding students go on to become Certified Knowledge Management Auditors, Certified Knowledge Management specialist Certified Knowledge Management Technician (CKMT)®.

The Scholarship Award amounts are $15,000, $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $1,000 and $500. Scholarships are awarded in U.S. dollars and include a one-year ACKMP Student Associate membership. Awards will be paid directly to the award recipient’s university

Requirements

Applicants MUST Submit Recommendations From the Appropriate Officials For Scholarship and Provide Official Transcript(s) showing all completed college or university courses and Three letters of recommendation must be submitted on behalf of the applicant. At least one letter is preferred to be from a Certified Knowledge Management Auditor (CKMA)®, Certified Knowledge Management Specialist (CKMS)® & Certified Knowledge Management Technician (CKMT)®.

Undergraduates must be enrolled 9 semester hours (or equivalent) per term; Graduates must be enrolled 6 semester hours (or equivalent) per term and be enrolled at an accredited, four-year college or university with enrollment through the current academic

The ACKMP Scholarship Program

Is managed by Board of Directors. Each Board Director brings a wealth of experience in the practice of Knowledge Management, as well as dedicated service to the Association of Certified Knowledge Management Auditors. The following are list of Board Members Position – Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Executive Secretary.

Should Be Requested

Additional Letters of Recommendation

Should be requested from an individual who may be familiar with your Knowledge Management related activities, interests, goals, and Knowledge Management career path such as an instructor or employer. During the application process, you will provide information on all three recommendations. These individuals will receive a link to upload their individual letters of recommendation on your behalf.
