Dr. Nweneka is presently the Chair of the Bioethics Forum Steering Committee responsible for planning the annual international Bioethics Forum. served as the lead consultant in a rapid assessment of training needs and mentorship approaches for the care of children and adolescents living with HIV in seven countries (Burundi, Ethiopia, Malawi, Nigeria, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda).

An expert in Organizational Development & Strategic Management with 20 years of practical experience in developing strategic and operational plans for small and large organizations; and in capacity development for organizational staff, Board members, and other key stakeholders particularly in results-based program planning and program management.

Chair, Bioethics Forum Steering Committee, Chair, Advocacy Working Group (AWG), African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative (AVMI), Representative of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS on the Inter-ministerial committee for the planning of Nigeria’s participation at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Former Deputy Director- Public Health Programs and Policy US Department of Defense Walter Reed Program (Nigeria). Received an Excellence in Program Leadership Award from the United States Army Medical Research Directorate – Africa/Nigeria for his work with the organization. Special Representative of the NACA DG to the PEPFAR COP negotiation meetings in Tanzania (2016) and South Africa (2016). Member, Scientific Review Committee – HIV Microbicides, European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP). Former Deputy Director – Policy and Strategy Directorate (Head of Strategy and Planning Division) & Coordinator, NACA Global Fund Program.

Chair, Ethics, Law, and Human Rights sub-committee, New HIV Vaccine & Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS).  And Fellow, Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators. Dr. Nweneka has extensive experience in management and leadership spanning over 31 years in different organizational and geographical settings, at least 15 years of which have been at top management level nationally and internationally, and served on several Boards.
